Trapped is the perfect title for this book, as it had me TRAPPED pretty much from the beginning. Since the other book took me so long and Book Club was going to be coming fast and because there is still this issue of Christmas trees and decorations around I was going to pace myself with this one so I could finish in time but not let it consume me. Yeah right. Apparently it has been a while since I read an Irene Hannon book. Two days, friends, two days. And one of those days was staying up until 1:00 AM because there was NO WAY I was going to sleep without finding out how all the pieces were put together.
I'm not sharing too much in honor of my book club buddies who may not have finished it yet, but let me just say I was NOT disappointed!!
When librarian Laura Griffith's sixteen-year-old sister disappears on a
frigid February day, leaving only a brief note behind, Laura resolves to
do whatever it takes to track down the runaway teen. That includes
recruiting Atf agent turned Pi James "Dev" Devlin to
help. But the deeper he digs, the more he begins to suspect that
something sinister is at work in the girl's disappearance. And the
closer he gets to uncovering the truth, the clearer it becomes that the
situation isn't just dangerous--it's deadly.
Chilling and at times terrifying, Trapped
is the latest thrilling read from Irene Hannon, the queen of romantic
suspense. Hannon outdoes herself with this fast-paced tale of fear,
deception, and just the right dose of romance. (picture and description from amazon)
Enjoy!!
