1 & 2 Thessalonians and 1 & 2 Timothy, books #60-#63

1 Thessalonians

Grace and Peace.

4:11-12 Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody. Pretty much sums up how we should live.

5:13 Live in peace with each other. Simply said.

Grace.

2 Thessalonians

Grace and Peace.

3:13 And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good.

Grace.

1 Timothy

Grace, Mercy and Peace.

4:4-5 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.  If someone blesses you with a chocolate cake, eat up!

Grace.

2 Timothy

Grace, Mercy and Peace.

4:3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.  This probably applies to many "teachers" today.

Grace.
